The Ohio German Language School
In 2008, OGLS was established to teach the German language to children and adults in the Columbus metro area and to foster the culture and customs of German-speaking countries. Further, they hope to contribute to an appreciation of the cultures and traditions of Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland.
From September through May, the School holds classes every Saturday morning at the Wellington School in Upper Arlington (Columbus) Ohio. Classes are available to children and adults during the school year.
Instruction is mostly held in German (immersion) but occasionally English can be used if deemed necessary for understanding. The instructors are predominantly native speakers, as well as teachers of German with many years experience.
Note: OGLS is always looking for qualified German Language instructors for both their classrooms as well as for tutoring opportunity. Contact the director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
