“Walk in the shoes of a Dyslexic,” a presentation of the Central Ohio Branch of IDA, is held every year.  The goal is to make real for parents, teachers, friends and interested others just what it feels like to “be dyslexic.”

In six simulations, participants at this Fall workshop confronted many of the difficulties that dyslexics face when performing language related tasks.

The hands-on workshop, in Columbus OH,  was designed to improve understanding and encourage the use of effective teaching techniques.

Presented by the Central Ohio Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (COBIDA), the presentations were held as usual at the Central Ohio Special Education Regional Resource Center (COSERRC) at 470 Glenmont Avenue, Columbus OH 43214.  Workshop fee was $15.

The annual membership meeting is usually held just before the workshop.
